Enter the Giveaway!

This past weekend I promised myself some time to focus on card making including colouring some of my digital stamps. I'm experimenting with using colouring pencils and Sharpies together.

I also expected to be selecting a winner for the giveway I launched in a previous blog post. The number of entries are lower than I'd expected. Not really happy about that as it's not much of a draw or a competition if there isn't at least four or five people entered and I didn't even have that!

I've tweeted, and posted on my various walls on various sites and there have been plenty of visitors. Maybe I just need to give it a little more time to attract the minimum number of potential winners. I want to focus on preparing for another important day for my craft enterprise so I made a decision...

There is now more time for you to enter the My Memories Suite Software Giveaway... the new deadline is now Sunday 2nd October 6pm London time. All you have to do is visit MyMemories.com and browse their digital paper packs. Choose your favourite, come back to my blog and comment, telling me the name of your favourite pack and you're in! Just like that.

When you're done, I'd appreciate it if you would tell your friends and share it in your networks. I hope some more you will take a little time to enter.

The winner of this software giveaway will receive a code which will allow them to get a free copy of the digital scrapbooking package My Memories Suite v2, billed as "#1 rated", directly from the online store.

I've been using my copy recently to try different projects... creating unique background papers for card making, using my photos to make printable cards... haven't printed anything so no photos yet... sorry. I'm resisting the urge to print until I make something I'm really happy with in an effort to save ink and card which I like to use as I get a better quality result.

Visit the previous post and watch the video to see the range of items you can create and it's not just for card makers or scrapbookers.

The new deadline for the giveaway falls on the evening of the 2nd of October after the 2nd Arts & Crafts Market at Hackney City Farm when I will have another craft stall.

Although I have quite a bit of stock I'm still telling myself I need to make more cards for the next Arts & Crafts Market early next month. Trouble is I'm going through a period of lacking inspiration.

Determined to get on with making some cards I decided I was not leaving the craft space until I'd made at least four cards. Because I feel that people will want them I am attempting to make Christmas cards but not sure this is working for me. Nevertheless I achieved my goal... four cards I wanted to make and that's what I did.

There are times when I immediately like what I've just made. I can't wait to share it, posting photos on my Facebook page or Twitter.

I am not having one of those times.

These cards are alright but very uninspiring. I know I can do much better.

I tried to use papers and embellishments I've collected over the years. In an attempt to make do with what I have, I hope to create some nice cards.

I'm still hoping...

...and I'll continue to craft through the block. Wish me inspiration...

Thanks for reading :)
