First reason to be cheerful is the making of this kite card for my beloved grandson. I chose a kite as flying our handmade kite on the local green is one our favourite pastimes. The idea of the cutaway was one of the first design ideas I decided to use along with the kite motif. The ribbons are knotted loosely to mimic bows on a string.
Another reason to be cheerful is that I have created a page sharing this simple to follow design. If you would like to know how to make this card please visit my VideoJug Page How to Make a Kite Card where you will find step-by-step instructions with lots of photos to help you along. Please visit and if you do make a kite card or are inspired to develop the original idea, please come and tell ua about your experience and share your creations. Or if you found my instructions unclear, get in touch and tell me where you got stuck.
I look forward to hearing from you.
